Bodoland university central library was upgraded in 2009 along with the upgradation of GU kokrajhar campus into state university (Bodoland Unversity). The BU library was was confined in single room after establishment, In 2013 12th august the library was shifted in multi storeyed building. The library has has grown in terms of infrastructure and facilities during the past few years the formal functioning of the library started in may 2013 with the joining of library professional assistant and library assistant The library plans to enhance its quality of services and capacity in near future by implementing several new technologies and capacity building.
